Michael Condon is a recent retiree of the Allstate Insurance Company, having spent 33 years in various field, Regional and Home Office claims related positions. The last 22 years included key Home Office Claims positions supporting and leading strategic, business, and technology initiatives relative to Auto Physical Damage claims management. These positions encompassed all aspects of APD including thought leadership, business strategy and process design, technology strategy and implementation, centralized services management and Industry Relations. Michael led the majority of Allstate's strategic APD initiatives during this time frame including industry shaping programs such as DRP, PRO, MechPRO, Centralized PRO, PRO 2000, the integration of Sterling Auto Body Centers and a recent comprehensive redesign of Allstate’s APD technology strategy. Michael is experienced at leading strategy development and planning efforts; implementing complex technology and business process initiatives; and researching, acquiring and integrating emerging technologies into existing business models.
During his career Michael worked closely with several of the world's largest management consulting groups and participated in studies of the UK and European collision repair inter-industry. Given his Industry relations role, Michael also developed and maintains relationships with key industry influencers, service providers and suppliers. This role included representing Allstate on industry boards, at industry conferences, and on advisory councils. Michael is an active member of CIC and participant in many of the technology related CIC committees over the past years.
An accomplished presenter, Michael organized and facilitated two recent NACE seminars on industry issues. He also has participated on NACE and CIC panel discussions and has periodically provided his insights to select 20 groups throughout the country.
